Job Description

The Assembly and Test Operator is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Roles and Responsibilities: + Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures. + Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. + Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. + Create labor records for all transactions. + Ensure good housekeeping within own work area. + Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments. + Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement. + High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience. + Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools. + Ability to read, interpret, and conduct written and oral instructions; write legibly. + Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.
