Packaging Assistant
Pay Rate: $16/hr
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: 2nd shift available; Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (OT required as needed)

Job Summary:
We are currently hiring a Packaging Assistant to support various labor-intensive tasks including labeling, container preparation, drum rolling, packing cartridges, crimping, and material handling . This role is essential in ensuring high-quality finished products by maintaining accurate fill weights , correct labeling , and clean work conditions. The Packaging Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining production flow and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions
Safety:
Prevent, report, and assist in addressing any drips, leaks, or spills that could impact safety or the environment.
Adhere to all PPE requirements and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe conditions.
Quality:
Support the Quality Policy and adhere to ISO 9001:2015and IATF 16949standards, when applicable.
Follow all documented and communicated packing procedures .
Minimize the creation of second-quality product .
Operational:
Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Accurately follow instructions related to labeling, stacking, and palletizing .
Monitor automated equipment such as packers, tapers, and printers.
Perform basic troubleshooting and ensure equipment readiness under direct supervision.
Complete all assigned tasks with efficiency and accuracy .
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to read, write, and understand English .
Team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
Education
High School diploma or GED required or proven ability to perform job duties.
Training Requirements
Daily on-the-job training .
Annual General Safety & Hazard Communication training .
Additional quality training as needed.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs , including hoses and filled containers.
Capable of climbing stairs , working in confined spaces , and maintaining balance and coordination.
Must be able to read small measurements from meters and gauges.
Able to work in non-climate-controlled environments and withstand extreme temperatures .
Must be available to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed .
