Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Shelbyville, KY
Shift Hours: 2-Day Shift Positions | 2-2-3 Schedule | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Compensation: $36–$38/hour with Overtime (OT paid on 48-hour weeks)
About the Role:
Our client, a growing manufacturer in Shelbyville, KY, is hiring two hands-on Production Supervisors to lead day shift operations on a 2-2-3 schedule. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Lead or Team Lead looking to take the next step into a supervisory role. Candidates must have prior experience using PIM (Plant Information Management) systems and supervising or leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support daily production operations across 12-hour shifts
Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement using PIM data
Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met or exceeded
Coach, train, and direct production team members to meet operational goals
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime
Report shift activity, production issues, and team performance to upper management
Lead by example in enforcing safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications / Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a lead, maintenance, or supervisory role in manufacturing
Familiarity with PIM systems or other data-driven production tools
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Comfortable working a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with alternating 48- and 36-hour weeks
Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical or operational issues
High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications a plus
