Immediate need for remote customer call center reps in the state of New Jersey.
Insurance open enrollment season is starting and we are hiring 100 bilingual call center representatives. Candidates must reside and work in the state of NJ. Please review details below and submit your resume for immediate consideration.
Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour for English-speaking representatives
$19.00 per hour for bilingual (English/Spanish) representatives
Start Date: September 22
Training Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Eastern, for 3 weeks
Work Availability Requirements:
Candidates must have open availability to work during the following hours:
Open Enrollment Period: November 1 – January 31
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Last two Sundays of Open Enrollment: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Last three days of Open Enrollment: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST
One week after Open Enrollment ends: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from consumers, including the general public, prospective enrollees, and those assisting enrollees, in accordance with performance standards and privacy policies
- Respond to all forms of inbound and outbound contacts
- Document and track inquiries using applicable systems
- Process new applications for healthcare coverage via phone, including eligibility determinations and enrollment
- Handle life event changes, demographic updates, unenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods
- Fulfill caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download
- Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers
- Escalate calls or issues to designated staff as needed
- Attend meetings and training sessions; maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs and systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Background and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience
- Strong data entry and telephone skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred
- Customer service and call center experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
