Salary: $3916 / Week Special Education Teacher - Extensive Support Needs (ESN) ?? Location: Santa Barbara, California ?? Term: 2025-2026 School Year ?? Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Amergis Staffing is seeking compassionate and skilled ESN Special Education Teachers to support students with significant cognitive, physical, and behavioral needs. This role focuses on delivering individualized instruction and fostering independence in a supportive school-based setting. Key Responsibilities + Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students with extensive support needs + Adapt curriculum to support functional academics and life skills + Provide direct instruction and behavioral support + Collaborate with families, therapists, and school teams + Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring Qualifications + Valid California Education Specialist Credential - Moderate/Severe or ESN Authorization + Experience working with students with significant disabilities preferred + Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Why Amergis Staffing + Weekly pay via direct deposit + Medical, dental, and vision benefits starting the 1st of the month + W2 employment + Supportive school communities and leadership Rate is for candidates 50+ miles away from site.
