At STEP, we prioritize women and non-binary founders, helping them transform bold ideas into powerful, sustainable ventures.

What STEP Offers

As an SISFS incubator, STEP provides

  • Funding Support: Grants and debt for both idea-stage and growth-stage startups
  • Expert Mentorship: Guidance from experienced founders and domain specialists
  • Business Enablement: Help with planning, compliance, and investor readiness

Who Can Apply?

  • Identify as a woman or non-binary entrepreneur
  • Hold a key leadership or decision-making role
  • Be registered as a Private Limited Company, LLP, or OPC
  • Have a valid DPIIT Startup Recognition
  • Be incorporated within the last 2 years

How to Apply?

  • Apply online via the SISFS portal
  • Select STEP as your preferred incubator
  • Eligibility screening by STEP
  • Expert committee reviews applications
  • Shortlisted startups pitch to the Incubator Seed Management Committee (ISMC)
  • Selected startups receive funding + mentorship
